Plot[]

In a turbulent era of feudal warfare, Rikimaru and Ayame, two skilled ninjas hailing from the Azuma Ninja Clan, embarked on a mission to rescue Princess Kiku, the cherished daughter of Lord Gohda, from the clutches of Lord Mei-Oh. Tragically, during their escape, Rikimaru became ensnared in a perilous rockslide while attempting to safeguard Ayame and Princess Kiku. To this day, Rikimaru remains missing, leaving a void within the Azuma Ninja ranks.

Despite the loss of their comrade, the land of Gohda managed to regain a semblance of tranquility following Lord Mei-Oh's assault. Ayame, dutifully serving as an agent of Lord Gohda, continued to patrol and safeguard the expansive territory diligently. One fateful day during her travels, Ayame stumbled upon a desolate ninja village, a place that had suffered utter devastation. Although she held hope of finding survivors, her arrival proved to be too late. The ninjas of Hagakure, in their final moments, whispered the enigmatic word "Kuroya."

As Ayame prepared to depart, she encountered a young female ninja named Rin, who had returned from her training only to be confronted with the grim reality of her village's ruins. Rin, believing Ayame to be the sole survivor, initially held her responsible for the village's demise. However, as their journey unfolded, Rin came to realize that Ayame was not the perpetrator of the tragedy that befell her town. This revelation prompted the two skilled kunoichi to join forces in pursuit of the individuals genuinely responsible for the devastation, embarking on a quest for justice and retribution.
